Merger proposal
editI propose that Time in North Korea be merged into Pyongyang Time. They are so closely related, I cannot see the purpose of having separate articles. I am making a similar proposal in regards to the similar South Korea articles Time in South Korea and Korea Standard Time also. The discussion for that proposal is here. - Comment I see your point. However, nearly every country has a "Time in..." page and, in most cases, the time zone's name is unrelated to the country. For example, Turkey is on Eastern European Time, Hungary uses Central European Time, etc. To keep it consistent with other countries, it might be a better idea to merge Pyongyang Time into Time in North Korea, and use Pyongyang Time as a redirect, especially as the current Pyongyang Time page includes information about North Korea's past time zones (which were not "Pyongyang Time").Michael5046 (talk) 19:43, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
- Your suggestion makes a lot of sense Michael5046. I would not mind the merge going in the opposite direction. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 00:27, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
- More than a month has passed without further comment so I have performed the merge. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 04:40, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
