Pasi is not a Dalit Untouchable cast so please Remove it. Sudheer Rawat (Pasi) (talk) 13:21, 5 July 2024 (UTC) In Tamil Nadu, the toddy tapping caste is callled Shanar and uses Nadar as surname. they are OBC's and have developed after they had a Chief Minister from their community who helped in their discarding toddy tapping and facilitated capital formation for the community for taking up various businesses - printing, grocery and vegetable shops, hardware shops. He gave them land on lease and as grants(staged auctions) etc so that the caste can take up business. Today the caste is doing well and is politically also dominant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.164.85.130 (talk) 06:07, 5 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
