Talk:Naughty chair

This article looks rather POV to me. Though I am not a child psychologist and I don't want to argue, I think that this article is one-sided and negative about the naugty chair. The article states all disadvantages of this diciplinary method but no advantages. It is not wrong to state the disadvantages, but list the advantages as well. Dividing the article into a lead and chapters about the workings of the method, the advantages of the method and the disadvantages of the method would also made the article more readable. Opinions about the naughty chair can be stated on specific forums on internet sites dealing with parenting; Wikipedia wants to be a neutral encyclopedia and is not a forum. I hope that the author of this article and other Wikipedians will state their reactions. --84.26.109.69 13:23, 26 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

I am studying child psychology currently and I can confirm that this is indeed a one sided and opinionated view of the issue. -- Jonnie

Since its deletion nomination, the article was nicely rewritten and the vote decided to keep it. Kudos to SilkTork for his work! grafikm_fr 14:25, 8 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
