Scope of this article
editI've started a discussion at Talk:Nativity of Jesus in art about where visual depictions from the 20th century should go. I would prefer to keep discussion on that page, but invite anyone reading here to drop by there. BrainyBabe (talk) 18:43, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Works not realy about Nativity
editTHere are several works here that are mostly about the life of Jesus, and only briefly cover the Nativity. This one, if I understand correctly from the article Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt, does not cover the conception, birth, adoration, or flight at all, but only the return journey as a boy. Removed from the article, but left here because it might be useful for another article. BrainyBabe (talk) 00:40, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Article's title
edit"Nativity of Jesus in later culture". Later than when?
According to the message at the top of the article, it "deals with depictions of the Nativity of Jesus outside the fields of the figurative arts." Instead, it seems the article is listing non-pictor[i]al depictions of (etc).
So how about "Non-pictor[i]al representations of the Nativity of Jesus"? At least, something other than "Nativity of Jesus in later culture".
