Michael Corinthos III
editI have removed Michael from this list, being that he already has his own article at Michael Corinthos. Thank you. --OLTL2002 (talk) 00:36, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- it's not your decission to decide to take off Michael from the list. --M42380 (talk) 20:14, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Then exactly who's decision is it? --OLTL2002 (talk) 05:41, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I agree that Michael is probably a significant enough character to have his own article, though that article needs work. I also believe that he should stay on this list for the sake of "completeness." So let's allow this article to provide an introduction to the character, and interested readers can follow the new link to the main article. — TAnthonyTalk 15:08, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- OLTL2002, I know you were just "being bold" and editing in good faith. In the future, I'd ask you both to engage in a formal discussion on a talk page about a disputed issue rather than revert each other back and forth. It's OK if an article is "wrong" for a few hours or days while the issue is hashed out. — TAnthonyTalk 15:18, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Names
editAnybody else think that the actor names should be included? --OLTL2002 (talk) 11:04, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- it would be nice to add the names of the actors and actresses that are either have or are playing them currently. --M42380 (talk) 17:24, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- Great. I know most of their names, but I'll go look for the ones that I don't. --OLTL2002 (talk) 03:37, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Morgan has four actors that have played him. Jake Simms had left the show after a couple of months and recast to George. --M42380 (talk) 18:23, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- Great. I know most of their names, but I'll go look for the ones that I don't. --OLTL2002 (talk) 03:37, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Kristina Corinthos-Davis
editIt has been reported that Kristina's birth actor was being played by a doll intsead of normal baby because of her premature state at the time. For this i asked that Kristina's doll status being left alone. Thanks.--M42380 (talk) 16:36, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
I think the "doll" thing included in the list of ACTORS to play the children is ridiculous, but I'm not going to have an editing war over it. Soap children (and TV children in all genres for that matter) are played by dolls on occasion. I don't think the list of actors to play her is the place for that information as I do not believe it is particularly relevant or useful information, but perhaps I am the only one of that opinion. For that reason, I won't remove it again. Should someone else choose to, I fully support that. Correctone (talk) 20:21, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. --M42380 (talk) 20:44, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Predictions
editThough Kristina and Morgan are being aged, this has not happened yet, and no casting has even been announced. Please see Wikipedia:Crystal. This information can be posted after it occurs. Thank you! --OLTL2002 (talk) 19:40, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Corinthos Kids
editMichael, Morgan, and Krsistina are now teenagers. I don't think they should be included with the other children. Not only that, Spencer, Cameron, and Jake are all being aged too. [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by M623 (talk • contribs) 12:36, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- They are still someone's children, and at this point are not notable enough yet to have their own articles. Check out Ethan Lovett ... it was nominated for deletion, and the only reason the article survived was because we added a lot of references asserting notability etc. And the only reason there were any references was because he's the son of Luke and Holly and this has been covered in the press. An article that is only an infobox and plot summary will get tagged and deleted, and that is exactly what a new article for any of the kids you mention would be.— TAnthonyTalk 15:13, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'm just wondering are all the Baby Boy Corinthos's really necessary?Sparrowhawk7 (talk) 20:14, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- I would say yes, cuz they not only show how prolific Sonny is, but in all three cases, either the conception or death of the fetus played a non-trivial part in a plotline. They ought to be no different then "real" kids who are present on the canvas and are talked about, even though hardly ever seen. Shymian (talk) 21:54, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- then why don't we add Jacks kids too? and Lansing? Morgan kids? It's seems unfair just to have Sonny's dead kids on there.--M42380 (talk) 13:35, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Living Children Only?
editI know that this article in only for living children, but I think that it's not fair for the children who were stillborn or have died. I think that every child of General Hospital characters should be featured on this article, being that viewers of General Hospital can see the back stories of these children. How else is a viewer supposed to research the back story General Hospital. Please consider changing your decision to only have living children in this article. Thanks, Amandaxpandax14 Amandaxpandax14 (talk) 20:41, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
If a child actually was born and had some sort of life (outside the womb) then I can understand listing them. Like Zach Brady is listed under Days of Our lives kids. However to list children who were stillborn or miscarried I think is unneeded.Mixed5000 (talk) 06:30, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Google search for Violet refers here, but no listing. Reason? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.192.29 (talk) 21:32, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
Merge discussion
editI'm proposing that each section of this article be merged into one of the character lists; I don't really see why child characters should be excluded from character list, they are regular characters just like adult characters; and it would cut down on having to distinguish between current child characters and past child characters. Like British soap operas, sections containing information on the child characters within the series appear in the rest of the character lists.--Nk3play2 my buzz 22:43, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose: I think separate articles for the children makes more sense, especially since most children are SORAS'd within the first 2–5 years of their birth. So I think it should stay separate from the decade articles. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 02:42, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
What if the past child characters are merged but the current ones stay in the separate article? That could reduce some of the clutter if that's what you're worried about. Sparrowhawk8 (talk) 21:10, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- What needs to happen is that the bios for each child have to be dramatically cut down to storylines directly connected to them, not their parents, etc. There's no reason to split it up. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 21:29, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
No reason to merge, keep because keep the other articles shorter and neater.Caringtype1 (talk) 22:06, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
- I agree it seems to make sense to keep them separate, as when they are SORASed that's probably the better "notable" time to choose what decade page they should go on. Can we remove the merge tag at the top of the page? Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 21:11, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Victor Lord III
editI do not think this is notable for inclusion on this page. I think the description in Daniel Morgan's entry and the entry for Victor Lord III on the List of General Hospital characters suffices. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 21:04, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
Would Lila McCall be notable for inclusion on this page, then? I don't see why one is more notable than the other. I think they should stay here.Caringtype1 (talk) 21:11, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- Neither really belongs, but these "Children of..." and "List of... characters" articles are generally holding pens for characters that have zero to very little notability. Fangirls/boys think it super, super important because the characters they care about must be super, super notable. The fact is the only reason miscarried/stillborn children are on these lists are because these births/miscarriages/stillbirths occurred recently. If Lila McCall and Victor Lord III are notable, why not go back through the shows history and include every single stillbirth that has occurred. On a show called "General Hospital" the number will surely be staggering. If you're going to argue for the inclusion of these two, you'd better be prepared to argue for the inclusion of all of the rest. AniMate 21:26, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- I agree that Lila need not be on here. The reason I suggested Victor's removal and not Lila's was to avoid a drawn out discussion since she has been on the page for a while and included in a longer storyline, etc. My reasoning aside, neither need to be here but Victor most certainly doesn't, as he was merely a plot point, and there is nothing to say about him that isn't already explained in Daniel, Sam, Tea, Jason, etc articles. The full list of GH characters, as it even includes mentioned characters, I think it's fine to include/keep there, as a compromise. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 21:37, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
Lila McCall
editThinking about it more, I agree with the above that Lila McCall should be taken off as well; there is nothing to say about her specifically that is not/could not be included in the entry of her parents. This would stop fancruft entries of her name in the relative infoboxes of numerous characters. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 19:10, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
I suppose you're right. I they only appeared on 1 episode they probably aren't notable enough for inclusion on this page. But why is Lila McCall's section called 'Lila McCall', shouldn't it be "Baby Girl McCall", that is her legal name, that is what is says on her grave marker, Lila was just what they were going to call her, nobody actually did call her that.Caringtype1 (talk) 19:16, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Another reason I think it should go :) Similar to "Jason Morgan Jr.", it is more of what fans use to describe her than what was actually used on the show. Although I think inclusion on the full list of characters isn't really necessary either, I think it's a compromise especially since "mentioned" characters are included there, everything could be redirected there to an entry under "Baby Girl McCall." You are right, if the show felt Lila was her name, she would have been buried that way. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 19:26, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- If it's helpful - "Lila McCall" has 21,300 google hits while "Baby Girl McCall" has 64,000 hits. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 19:41, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
Housekeeping
editTwo things - one, I think this page needs to be moved to "List of Children of General Hospital" per common list standards... Also, after recent discussions at A. J. Quartermaine, I think B. J. Jones should have a space. From what I learned, the full name written out includes a space but the nickname on its own does not. For example, "B. J. Jones (with space) is a character who frequently goes by the nickname B.J. (no space)." I know both these items will cause broken links that will have to be fixed, I don't mind fixing them afterwards. Thoughts/objections? Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 23:48, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
- I think TJ Ashford should be adjusted as well, to T. J. Ashford with T.J. for short. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 21:15, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Plots listed are not even close to present day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.192.29 (talk) 22:37, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Violet has no backstory at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:645:C601:6010:9D32:7FCA:C5BE:DDDF (talk) 23:03, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
Stone Cates
editWas he ever on GH? I thought he was just on Night Shift... Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 22:01, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Not 100% sure, but I'm almost positive he was only on Night Shift.Caringtype1 (talk) 23:04, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- I think the Stone Cates section should be moved to List of General Hospital characters because the section is very small and the character only appeared on General Hospital Night Shift. Sparrowhawk8 (talk) 00:42, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
I agree since he never appeared on GH, he shouldn't be included here. But moving it to List of GH characters would be just as incorrect. He should be moved to the page for Night Shift characters.Caringtype1 (talk) 00:47, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
- That's a better idea. I wasn't sure if there was a page for the Night Shift characters, but I found it and moved the Stone section there. Sparrowhawk8 (talk) 05:05, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
Daniel/Danny
editI really think that section should be called "Daniel morgan", as that is his name. Danny is a nickname, is not used exclusively, and commonly referred to Daniel. I don't think the character has been around long enough for Wikipedia:COMMONNAME to apply here. I've already reverted it twice, so I won't do it again until it has been discussed.Caringtype1 (talk) 00:44, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
Ben
editI am pretty sure that Dante and Lulu are his real parents --75.175.76.251 (talk) 21:09, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Should his name be changed in the list to what his parents now call him and not what Britt named him? Or have they not legally changed his name yet? Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 03:02, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
Proposed merge with T. J. Ashford
editContent is copied from other article. Bigpoliticsfan (talk) 21:38, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
If more is added to the page and the article is cleaned up, it should be okay. If the article is still to short, then I agree, it should be merged. Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 02:30, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
I have updated the storylines for 2013 & 2014 with references and linked characters. Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 06:21, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
The page was a start class page. I'm not sure why it was deleted. Is there a way to get the page back? Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 04:13, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
Taylor DuBois
editTaylor DuBois Is still listed as recurring on List of General Hospital cast members. How come she is listed here as former?

Move
editI think that Jossely Jacks and Cameron Webber should be moved the 2000s GH Character page lists, as neither of these are characters are children anymore. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 16:02, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
