Move
editI have moved this article to the scientific name in accordance with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (flora). I have fixed all (I believe) of the redirect pages to go here. If you feel I missed one or would like to fix the links in other articles to go straight here without redirect, go here. --♦♦♦Vlmastra♦♦♦ (talk) 02:44, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Nice move! I tried to get the rest of them. While doing that, I learned that it is the national flower of Finland and that in the language of flowers it means patience. Heh! -- carol 05:02, 12 January 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by CarolSpears (talk • contribs)
- Thanks, it's rather tedious :)!--♦♦♦Vlmastra♦♦♦ (talk) 02:10, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Fibonacci Number of petals
editI have seen (unattributed) claims that the number of petals on a daisy is often a Fibonacci number. Is this true? Is there a reliable reference for this? Can this claim be added (or disputed) in the article? Thanks! --Lbeaumont (talk) 19:16, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
