Updated content, more neutral POV
editAdded new content and inline citations to improve coverage. Article content from the Marshall reference appears to be the one with the most biased POV, so the text using that source was revised. Also, verified dates and timeline of events with citations to improve accuracy. The sequence of events was a bit out of sync. Rosalina523 (talk) 22:54, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Father Moses Milligan Revolutionary War service
editHi, Wikipedia editors. As a descendant of Moses Milligan, Lambdin's father, I can find no evidence that Moses served in the Revolutionary War. The date of birth for Lambdin's father is 1767, so he was still a child when the war began and a teenager when it ended. There is another Moses Milligan who does appear in the records, but his pension application was in South Carolina, not Ohio. So I question the identification of Lambdin as the son of a Revolutionary War soldier (or even a grandson, as service records for a James Milligan of Pennsylvania suggest that this is different person as well).
