Edits by socks
editMaterial inserted by suspected sockpuppets of an SPI blocked user, seem to go back a number of years, albeit with long breaks between edits. The unsourced or WP:SYNTH material was not always detected and reverted or excised in full in the interim, causing distortion of this (and many other LGBT) article/s. Noting here for easy reference, for when the master returns with another sock, as is quite likely. Despite length of time, the themes of the edits remain stable. (Additions shown below in green
.)

"
- (In infobox) changed this: [penalty = "5 years imprisonment and fine. Vigilante executions, beatings and torture are also common."]; to: penalty = [5 years imprisonment, fines, vigilante executions, beatings and torture], "
- On 17 September 2022 LMH edits
- (Infobox) penalty =
10 years imprisonment,
... [changed from "5 years"] - added in body: "
Associated morality laws 2995 penalizes against "any person who, even in a private space, commits an act of indecency in the presence of a non-consenting person of one sex or the other" with up to 19 years in jail and a fine of up to 100,000 Francs. Law 347 doubles that penalty to 20 years in jail with a 200,000 France fine.
"
And all the above was inserted with benefit of only one source: a short news article!
There were other accounts associated with these socks, which did not edit here. The user habitually returns to LGBT articles via new socks and may edit here again, following their latest blocks. This article was relatively lightly altered, but many are heavily edited by these puppets. AukusRuckus (talk) 08:42, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
