Note to all contributors

edit

This article is about Indian Gorkhas (bona fide citizens of India), who are distinct from citizens of Nepal residing in India as per the Indo-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship (1950). All information in this article must pertain only to Gorkhas who are Indian citizens. All contributors are requested to understand the significance of citizenship, and be careful not to mix Indian Gorkha citizens with Nepalese citizens. Saildew (talk) 17:47, 23 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Namaste, hajur harlay jati samma notable persons harko naam halnu hola, uni red mark garnu hola, we could create articles on that--Tabletop123 (talk)

There are no sherpas mentioned above in the notable peoples . If you refer sherpas as gorkhas you must underline many sherpas who are well known then your peoples in the list. And mostly darjeeling is a word derived from tibetian word not a Nepalese or gorkha word.so we have no trace in those notable notes.and sherpas are one of the national tribes bot your limbu and tamangs they are not a state tribe.
