Cúper's origins
editHéctor Cúper belongs to a family whose name is the normal Spanish transcription of Cooper. However, there's no evidence of distant British or Irish origins: as far as we know, Cúper might have received his surname in a different way. Sources are not clear: according to the Irish Independent he is "believed" to have Irish origins, according to the Daily Mail (mostly unreliable), he has English origins.--Carnby (talk) 09:58, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
- Finally sourced, in Spanish, from 2001 at the peak of his career. [1] English great grandfather named Cooper, who married an indigenous woman. Majority of his heritage is Italian however. 2A00:23C5:E187:5F00:B423:4520:56B8:286D (talk) 19:28, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
