It's uncler what's meant by "all three elements," I see spiritual and social, but what's the third?

The third element is nature.

Answer: Social, Natural, Spiritual. It's not too unclear.

Selected works? Bibliography?

edit

While editing the footer I noticed two consecutive sections with headings "Work" and "Works". I changed the latter to "Selected works".

If this list is intended to be complete, then "Bibliography" is a better heading. One of two templates {{expand list}} and {{complete}} can be used to mark its status. --P64 (talk) 16:14, 3 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not seeing support in the article itself for all of these categories (separate section warranted for honors, awards, distinctions):

  • Guggenheim Fellows
  • Iowa Writers' Workshop faculty
  • MacArthur Fellows
  • Members of the American Academy of Arts and Letters
  • National Book Award winners
  • Pulitzer Prize for Poetry winners

Two Villon translations

edit

Kinnell published two translations of Villon; IMO, they are sufficiently different to justify listing both as separate works in the Translations section, but this should be done by someone with a better understanding of poetry than I have. 139.180.23.118 (talk) 10:50, 23 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Is there a better image of Galway Kinnell? This is not a great picture. Sarahonthewiki (talk) 04:42, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Suggested Poem

edit

It All Comes Back (2006). My teacher gave me a copy of it that seems slightly different than the one in the image on the New Yorker. The first thing that I noticed is that mine says "four unlit candles" in the first line while the version in the New Yorker does not include the word "unlit".
