editThis article has little information regarding the subject. Please look for better examples and different types of Folk Culture, and how Folk Lore is a part of Folk Culture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:582:4102:CFD8:39BD:9323:E9B6:C301 (talk) 01:36, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
This is a pretty fragmented article
editI'd wonder about the best way to approach this subject to make the article more comprehensive, less fragmented and with a more orderly presentation. What would be a good starting point?Trilobitealive (talk) 03:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

I've updated the entry to reflect a more inclusive scope (which, in turn, more accurately reflects the predominant approaches to the study of folk culture by scholars today). Folk culture is a separate, though integrally entwined with, the definition and conceptualization of folklore. I think it would be wise to keep the entries separate; however, folk culture be feasibly integrated as a sub-section of the main folklore entry should that be deemed best by the community.
