UK Ratings

edit

Is there any way someone can start posting the UK ratings as it has happened on all other seasons! --SNTMcentral (talk) 16:39, 29 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have added the ratings for the UK. I have only went up to the end of episode airing in February as I don't know what the air Dates for the rest of the season are like and when they will take a break for a week (if they do). Also Channel 4 are airing the show at 11pm where the ratings are not available for and the show has not appeared in the top 30 on the BARB ratings guide. I decided to add Chennel 4s air date and Ratings spaces to the table just incase the ratings become available for a certain episode in the season. I have decided to use E4 and E4+1s ratings in the grid and they will be added together to form the episode total viewers. E4 will probably be only used depending on the Channel 4 ratings. If the Channel 4 ratings become available then they can be also added in. And I do ask that you please leave the UK table the way it is. I know its not complete but if by the series finale and no ratings for Channel 4 were released then Channel 4 can be removed from the grid and E4 can carry the ratings. Will you please revert his edit of Desperate Housewives (season 8) back to my previous edit? My edit looks better.

Oh my god, I can't believe it, AdamDeanHall, you're the most conceited person I've ever seen. Read what I wrote. 109.214.216.3 (talk) 23:13, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

No. That would sort of defy the point of edit-war protection. Danger High voltage! 04:39, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Titles of episodes 22 and 23 of the eight season.

edit

Hey everyone. There's Something About a War, as we see... More and more sources claimed episode 22 has his own title and doesn't share it with the series finale. What you don't understant is that although there's two episodes on the same night, they are DIFFERENT, and we have examples such as all the two-hour seasons finale in the show : - Season 2 (Remember (1/2) - Remember (2/2)) - Season 4 (The Gun Song - Free) - Season 5 (Everybody Says Don't - If It's Only in your Head) - Season 7 (And Lots of Security... - Come on Over for Dinner)

Furthermore, in his article Ausiello said and I quote : "that the May 13 series finale is called, “Finishing the Hat,” ", it's the title of the last episode, not for the episode 22 because this is strictly two different episodes like the season 7 two-hour finale. Dh-central.net, the most reliable source which has proved it in the past, has learnt exlusively (he has an ABC account) the title of episode 22 "Give Me the Blame", and I know him, that's why I change the page, because it's 100% true. I don't understand why you are acting as God, all of you it's boring. Friendly, 109.214.216.3 (talk) 23:11, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

What you know doesn't matter unless you can provide a reliable third party publication to back it up. As per Wikipedia guidelines, you need to link to a reliable source, which places like TV.com, DH-central.net are not. They are user-generated, which means anyone can log on and add anything they want whether it's true or not. How reliable they have been in the past is irrelevant if they do not meet the standards Wikipedia holds for reliable sources. See WP:OR and WP:Reliable sources for more information. There's no reason to think that you're wrong, but you can't back-up your claims with links to sites like Zap2It, Futon Critic or ABC Media Net and until you can, your information will simply continue to be removed. You may think it's stupid, but those are the rules. Don't take it personally. SchrutedIt08 (talk) 23:25, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I thank you for your explanation. I don't take it personally, but I do think it's stupid. By the way, DH-central.net is one and only person.

And just a question : do others wikipedia list of episodes of Desperate Housewives are right ? Such as :

It's the same page and it's written "Give Me the Blame". I'm sorry, but if you don't trust the others wikipedia, there is a huge problem. 109.214.216.3 (talk) 23:37, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

First, yes other wikipedias are not reliable sources and second you are changes by yourself the correct content on these others wikipedia to unsourced and false content. Do you really think that we fooled by that? As per SchrutedIt08, it's currently no other reliable source that confirm Give Me the Blame as an episode title for the one hour series finale. -- Serienfan2010 (talk) 23:58, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I changed three pages to the correct edit (and not the contrary). But the others I don't. So, to sum up, the others wikipedia aren't reliable sources but the English wikipedia is full of correct informations ? Well, you know what, I give up, and when ABC medianet, or Zaptoit will tell that episode 22 is "Give Me the Blame", on the one hand, you will see I was right, and on the other hand, you will learn that sometimes, others can learn us true informations and that you're not the only one in the world who is right. Then, I will truly laugh on your talk page. 109.214.216.3 (talk) 00:56, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
That attitude is completely unhelpful. Wikipedia is a community, we're all here to try and make these articles better. Please read WP:AGF. As I previously stated, there's nothing to say that your information is wrong, it is simply against the rules to add it without an approved third party publication. We don't make the rules, we simply follow them. If you can't accept that, then maybe you don't belong here. SchrutedIt08 (talk) 01:43, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I brought to you sources, and reliable sources. It's just the rules which are completely stupid because there is no more reliable than a fansite as, for example, DH-central.net. The rules have to be rewrote. The WP:AGF is really good, and AdamDeanHall should read it.109.214.216.3 (talk) 02:40, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps he should, but he is the one actually following the rules here. Now will you agree to stop adding the information until an approved source (such as the ones we've talked about) can be found so that this stupid page protection can be lifted and we can all get back to editing? SchrutedIt08 (talk) 10:34, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I agree. By the way, I'm sorry but AdamDeanHall doesn't respect the rules, he doesn't talk here and excuse-me but "My edits looks better" is the most snooty sentence I've ever read. He will never understand that he's not alone on wikipedia. I'm a huge fan of Desperate Housewives, perhaps one of the best and he thinks he has the power on all of the DH's things here. 109.214.216.3 (talk) 11:25, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hello ! To my mind, episode 22 has his own title and this is "Give Me the Blame". I don't say I share my opinion with Mister 109, I don't say he's right, but to follow lots of websites about television, critics, or just about DHW, they all say "Finishing the hat" is the title of the series finale, the 8.23 episode not for the two-hour. 90.11.167.133 (talk) 14:37, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sorry to just but in like this. But I think we should leave episode 22 with the name Give Me the Blame until we know otherwise, since the source given has been reliable in the past. And if the name is Finishing the Hat (1) then we can change it. Or we could leave episode 22 with a TBA in the title box until a name is released by ABC or someother site. These are only my thoughts. But This edit war needs to stop.Liam74656 (talk) 15:27, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Declined, the article is protected due to edit warring, and restoring a specific version makes the protection irrelevant as well as doing nothing to stop the edit war. Please discuss the changes you wish to make to the article, and once you establish concensus than edits can be made. Until that point I would ask you stop abusing this template with frivolous requests for edits as they simply waste everyone's time as well as stalling discussion. Editing

edit

How come I can not edit this article? I was trying to update the Irish and UK ratings section and I can not edit. Liam74656 (talk) 15:47, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Because the article is fully protected, meaning that only administrators can edit it. Farine (talk) 04:42, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
So then can I submit information here to be added to the main article by an administrator?Liam74656 (talk) 12:41, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Yes. Through the "Submit an edit request" link on the "View Source" tab. Administrators may either grant or decline your edit request. Farine (talk) 13:12, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Just two things: 1) Could you please replace all the TBAs in the Ratings section of this page with the Give Me the Blame link as soon as possible? 2) Could you please replace the "Give Me the Blame" writing in black with the Give Me the Blame link as soon as possible? Please let me know what you think. This is important. Thank you very much.

AdamDeanHall (talk) 20:07, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

You're wasting your time with these unconstructive edit requests. No administrator is ever going to restore your content until you have reached a consensus with editors 109.214.216.3 and 90.11.167.133 because it's your word against theirs. It's the third bogus edit request that you're making and I would suggest that you stop or you may get on the wrong side of the admins. Farine (talk) 20:26, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hello ! You see AdamDeanHall, if you allowed more sources (and which are reliable) and trust more people who are trustful (like me, I never wanted to do an edit war), there would not have happened an edit war and you may be now allowed to edit the Season 8 page. You have what you deserve. Deal with it. About the Give Me the Blame links, I talk to administrators now, could you change all the TBAs with the link of the episode 8.22, because AdamDeanHall knows and knew he was wrong (as usual, like the Season 2 "Remember" episodes, when he said it was only one episode although there are two ; or when he said there was a "?" at the end of the title of the 8.10 episode although there's not -yes, it was also a war against me although I used to be right-) so, it would be wonderful if the page was also not blocked because it's alright now. Thanks. 92.149.84.128 (talk) 14:30, 29 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Im just wondering if you could please add these pieces of information to the UK and Irish ratings section. In the Irish ratings, for episode 170 (8-13) Viewers = 285,000 and placed as #1. Source: RTE Guide Vol: 36. Week No. 18.

In the UK Section, for Episode 170 place a N/A in the channel 4 viewership and 1.323m in the total viewership column.

For episode 171, N/A in the chanel 4 viewership, 1.095m - #1 in the E4 viewership and 267,000 - #8 in the E4+1 (in the brackets) viewership. And 1.362 in the total viewership column.

For episode 172, N/A in the channel 4 viewership, 1.151 - #2 in the E4 viewership and N/A in the E4+1 (in the brackets) viewership. And a 1.151 in the total viewership column.

If you could add these, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Last names

edit

PLEASE add last names to Doris and Jane. Doris Roberts appears as "Doris Hammond" - Gabrielle said that when she make a salad in kithen - and Andrea Parker's character is "Jane Carlson". Gregg Limon, boss of Tom Scavo, said her last name when she was in Lynette house at Wisteria Lane in episode "Lost My Power". It is important to me and all of the fans and thank you.
