Metabolism

Also, the tardigrade article says "Recent experiments conducted by Cai and Zabder have also shown that these water bears can undergo chemobiosis - a cryptobiotic response to high levels of environmental toxins. However, their results have yet to be verified". Perhaps some acknowledgement of this unverifiedness should be noted, rather than making the blanket statement that tardigrades "can undergo all five types of cryptobiosis". 24.159.255.29 05:42, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Tardigrades

I've NEVER heard of a "tardigrade" but we all know sea-monkeys... I'm going to change it to something like "one of the most notable", its notability being due to its ability to achieve all known states of cryptobiosis. Any objections? 66.167.144.69 21:56, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Forms of cryptobiosis
