Proposed deletion on grounds of notability
editI have modified the article to delete unreferenced peacock terms, and added a number of external links to demonstrate notability. These include references in internationally published books, critical articles in a range of online journals, and interviews. Her books are available at Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de (in translation), Amazon.fr (in translation), Amazon.jp (in translation), and elsewhere, and articles exist in German and French Wikipedia. I have accordingly deleted the {{dated prod}} and {{notability}} tags. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:00, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- The issue has been raised again here - the same points apply. It remains essential, in my view, that the article does not present a non-neutral view of the subject's claims. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:51, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- Did this deletion discussion go anywhere? I'm concerned that all the claims made in this article are only sourced from credulous sites or those related to her business Gymnophoria (talk) 23:20, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Here. If you can add better sources, that would be great. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:09, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Skeptical
editI don't want to edit the main page based on limited personal research but my research on this person has thrown up a number of red flags. It is very difficult to find any serious third party reviews of her work. She never seems to give interviews. I find the rather tight control of her public image and lack of debate on her methods signs of a possibly unhealthy degree of authoritarianism. Also worth pointing out that, whilst I don't know what her actual relation was to John Pierrakos, when he met Eva his work took a different direction to that of Alexander Lowen and the two fell out. Pierrakos is today not considered to be a mainstream figure within the post-Reichian tradition. In any case, what BB says seems to be way distant from Reich and Lowen, so the article should avoid giving the impression that she is somehow closely associated to the Reich-Lowen tradition. BB spent a long period with Pathwork, the school founded by Eva based on lectures which she claims to have channeled. As far as I can see the content of these lectures is mystical and speculative. The claim of channeling is to my mind necessarily suspect. Also, BB figured on the Watkins list in 2011, but not in 2013. This information is thus either dated or somewhat misleading. Thus there do seem to be some inaccuracies or misrepresentations in the article and I think the lack of credible third party assessments of her work may mean that she cannot be considered someone of sufficient notoriety. However, I am not asking for the page to be deleted, I just thought that if the page was useful, this comments may also be. Personally I would welcome some more detail. - Unless you can provide reliable sources, we can't add anything to the article; but, if you think some of the sources in the article are not reliable, they can be checked and removed, or at least heavily qualified by caveats. Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:51, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
- I found one that's truly not reliable/notable.. the Death subsection has a single ref/cite/citation source: Facebook! Shouldn't that sentence be removed, hence? -From Peter {a.k.a. Vid2vid (talk | contribs)} 08:14, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
- A social media post from BBSOH is enough to cite "BBSOH reported her death", that's a straightforward claim. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 16:05, 6 October 2023 (UTC)

editThere is no mention in the article or sources about any scientific claims or research, I so I will go ahead and remove the link to pseudoscience as it is irrelevant to the article. Vajko (talk) 06:40, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
