"Widespread passive resistance, with a growing threat of armed resistance, meant little money was raised and the project was dropped. King Henry VIII now lacked funds for his war in France and left with no other options, he made peace." The last sentence reads funny. I would place a comma after the word 'and'. I agree, I added a comma and it reads much better now thanks! RBMBH (talk) 18:37, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Small Edit

Hi! Called at the time "a benevolence", it was essentially a forced loan, a levy of between one sixth and one tenth on the goods of the laity and on one-third of the goods of the clergy. In this sentence you use dashes in some of your fractions, but not all. I suggest choosing one way to write it to make it the same throughout. AlwaysSleepy4 (talk) 14:43, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good catch! I added dashes to the fractions without them. Thanks for your help! RBMBH (talk) 18:38, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Additional citation needed

edit

"Causes" section only has one citation, at the very beginning. Definitely needs at least one more, if not two for the rest of the section. Jtk2023 (talk) 17:04, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

You are right, I went and added another citation to that section to give more credibility. RBMBH (talk) 18:39, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Recommendation

This was a really cool article edit! I wonder if adding any images may help the article stand out a bit more? I don't have any other advice for the article, since it was so well edited. Notarealperson2 (talk) 19:46, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks so much! I agree so I added a picture of Thomas Wolsey to the article as he is probably the person most closely tied to the Amicable Grant. RBMBH (talk) 18:40, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
