Splitting music section
editDue to the length of the list of albums and the length of this disambiguation page, i propose splitting the "music" section to a separate 3 (music) disambiguation page, wich would be linked from the "3 (disambiguation)" page. Bcharles (talk) 06:37, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Merging technology, literature and film sections
editI propose moving the "in technology", "in literature", and "in film" sections from the 3 (number) article to "3 (disambiguation)". The content of these sections would be more appropriate here, though they would require a bit of additional cleanup as well. Bcharles (talk) 06:37, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think some of it should go but some should stay. Thr3e the novel and film, for example, should go but, for example, that there are three novels/films in a trilogy should stay. The question being whether the bit is about the number three or some something else called "three" (or "3", "Thr3e", etc.). JIMp talk·cont 21:52, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- Egad! In doing a American Film Institute (afi.com) search for "Three" I came up with 259 matches for the title and 82 matches for the alternate title. Do we really want such a section in either article? – S. Rich (talk) 18:57, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
- No one is calling for a comprehensive list of titles. For those more notable titles which have articles and might be referred to as "3" or "three", it makes sense to include them in a disambiguation page. If there are too many titles, it might be appropriate to have a separate "3 (film)" disambiguation page similar to the proposed "3 (music)" and "3 (sports)". 75.150.168.6 (talk) 15:32, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
