First race held
editIn recent years, records have emerged about a race called Australian Grand Prix that was held in 1927. I think it might have been at Marourbra Speedway but I'm not sure. Still you may have to defend the assertion is all I'm saying. --Falcadore (talk) 02:50, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Pole Position
editWhy is there an annotation for pole position? The race, like most of the early Australian Grands Prix, was a handicap race so the fastest qualifier did not start from the front of the field, effectively starting last. --Falcadore (talk) 02:46, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
