Joel P. West is an American composer, singer, songwriter and guitarist based in San Diego.[1] He is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Joel P. West and the Tree Ring.[2][3] He is also known for his collaborations with filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, composing such films of his as Short Term 12 (2013)[1] and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021).[4]
