Francis Henri Bélanger (born January 15, 1978)[1] is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played 10 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Montreal Canadiens during the 2000–01 season.

1999 boating accident
editOn July 23, 1999, during the offseason, Belanger and Mikhail Chernov were on a boating trip to Okanagan Lake in British Columbia with Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Dmitri Tertyshny when the latter suffered fatal injuries in a freak accident.[2]
