Reprudencia Sonkey, known professionally as Dencia (born March 26, 1992) is a Cameroonian/Nigerian singer, entrepreneur/Dj/fashion designer. She was born in Yaounde Cameroon to a teenage mom and was raised by her maternal grandparents as their child. Dencia later moved to the US as a teenager. She started her career in Hollywood by being featured in music videos of artists like Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, and Ludacris. Dencia released her debut single “Beri Beri” in 2011.[1][2]

As a designer, she has created looks for artists like Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Christina Milian, Lil’ Mama and more and is known for her own fashion statements and appearances on red carpets at the Billboard Music Awards, the Grammys, and the American Music Awards.[3][4][5][6]

In 2012, Dencia launched her first skincare line, Whitenicious, infamously including a skin lightening & brightening creams.[7]

Dencia has since created brands for other celebrities and now owns 12 skincare brands under her belt and name.

In 2016, Dencia made news as the girlfriend of soccer star Paul Labile Pogba as they were very loud in a hotel room in Manchester.
