Miami Dolphins
editArmstrong was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round (209th overall) of the 2018 NFL draft.[3] He was released during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019.[4]
Houston Texans
editOn September 1, 2019, Armstrong signed a two-year contract with the Houston Texans.[5] He was waived on September 10, 2019, and re-signed to the practice squad.[6] He was promoted to the active roster on October 26, 2019.[7] Armstrong signed a contract extension with the Texans on March 1, 2021.[8] He was waived/injured on August 30, 2021, and placed on injured reserve.[9] He was released on September 7, 2021.
Atlanta Falcons
editOn December 7, 2021, Armstrong was signed to the Atlanta Falcons practice squad.[10] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Falcons on January 10, 2022.[11] He was placed on injured reserve on August 16, 2022.[12] He was released on August 24. He was re-signed to the practice squad on October 3, 2022.[13] He was promoted to the active roster on October 29.[14]
On March 20, 2023, Armstrong re-signed with the Falcons on a one-year deal.[15] He was placed on injured reserve on August 29, 2023, then released on September 8.[16]
Las Vegas Raiders
editOn October 10, 2023, Armstrong was signed to the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad.[17] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 8, 2024.[18] He was waived on August 27.[19]
