I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks! --Marknew 08:41, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

NBC Universal template

I reverted because your edit seemed to undo the fixes below the "Owned & Operated Television Stations by" section. —tregoweth (talk) 21:15, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Unless your browser is rendering it differently than mine, it seems to squeeze the notes into a long thin column on the right, and "Spanish Independent TV Stations" and "Internet Venture" are stretched out on the left, with a lot of blank space. —tregoweth (talk) 21:29, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • Okay, it was my over-modified version of Firefox rendering it weirdly, because your last version looks fine in Safari (and, indeed, does take up less space). I've reverted it back to your last version; sorry about all that. —tregoweth (talk) 04:22, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Taiwan-tv-stub

Hi - I see you have recently created a new stub type. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, new stub types should be proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. It is far from clear that your new stub type would have the 60 stubs usually required for a separate stub type - especially as its parent stub category (Category:Asian television stubs) has fewer than 120 stubs. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any reason why this stub type should not be proposed for deletion at WP:SFD. And please, in future, propose new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 05:23, 22 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

The screenshot I uploaded has always been the logo for Europe This Week. The image I replaced, which was taken from the old CNBC Europe website, was similar, but was never actually used on TV. Gr1st 10:14, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

About Global Market Watch

I'm not 100% sure who produced it, but it featured contributions from both Europe and Asia. It may have been a co-production. Gr1st 11:11, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

About Erin Burnett

I noticed that you recently changed "Maria 2.0" to "Maria Bartiromo 2.0", in the Erin Burnett article. I could be mistaken, but I believe your intent was to provide a reference to alias. However, in doing so you actually made the alias incorrect. The alias is "Maria 2.0" and not "Maria Bartiromo 2.0"

Whatever the case, I've undone the edit and changed it to "Maria 2.0", so that it provides a link to the Maria Bartiromo article, while still showing "Maria 2.0" as it should.

A reminder -- please cite your sources when adding content to an article which is not supported by one of the existing sources. Also, when inserting paragraph breaks, be careful not to split sentences from the references which support them. Thanks, cab 00:09, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:2007.07.26 - CNBC US on CNBC Asia - 1600 Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:2007.07.26 - CNBC US on CNBC Asia - 1600 Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:15, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Apologies for overwriting the old logo file. I see now that it's used elsewhere in the article to demonstrate what the logo used to be. I re-uploaded it to a new file and replaced the infobox logo with the new file, because I'm assuming it's the most up-to-date logo and belongs up there. Fair use rationale for Image:The_Liberty_Times_logo.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:The_Liberty_Times_logo.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rockfang (talk) 08:19, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:The_Liberty_Times_logo.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Rockfang (talk) 15:46, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello KevinAction! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 298 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. AfD nomination of ETtoday (TV channel)

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is ETtoday (TV channel). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ETtoday (TV channel). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

==Proposed deletion of No Name Yu==

The article No Name Yu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced BLP with no assertions of notability - I could find no independent sources to verify notability per WP:ENT.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jezebel'sPonyoshhh 20:12, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Nikkei CNBC Tokyo Market Wrap logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:27, 23 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
