Because Alex Padilla is chosen to run in the 2022 US senate election for a full 6-year term. ApprenticeFan work 03:09, 24 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Tennis qualifications for 2020 olympics

Hi! Good job with the qualification list. I just wanted to know what criteria are you using for declaring that a player has qualified, because I believe that a lot more of men tennis players are already qualified, since they cannot be surpassed by enough players in order to be out of the 56 ranked places of qualification. Also, it may be detrimental to discard at this stage players under criteria B (like Paula Badosa in women's singles as an example) since they could still get dispensation to play. Resolving our differences

To @ApprenticeFan:,

Early last month, I did the work of changing and updating the American Idol articles and its colors and I had done them while because I have my time available because of an week-off from a hectic schedule I had prior to the editing, and I know that I wasn't that perfect, but I acknowledge some of the edits and I came to finish the job while you are busy. I'm also didn't aware that you are no longer a fan of The Apprentice (that time was due to some help but I still did myself) due to the name moniker and you prefer to stick to the name as it is because you prefer that way (and I will not mention that ever again). Now that everything has set aside, I think we should consider things settled and we should resolve the matter in the nicest way possible? I won't ask the same question again but I will be happy to help out in the future because we do share the interest of television, just to let you know. I guess we could let this slide and consider this as helping one another?

Please do reply once you see it because as an acknowledgement. Thank you. TVSGuy (talk) 15:38, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

2021_BNP_Paribas_Open

Hi there, I understand why some players have multiple collections of points dropping, but why do some players have multiple collections of points adding to their score for week of 2021 BNP Paribas? Surely for that fortnight that’s the only tournament they’re going to be able to add points? I’m curious. If you could explain (in the article or here) that would be super. Thanks. Tobyjamesaus (talk) 12:04, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Because the 2019 points had already reduced by 50 percent, but the ladies points will remain till November 8 as in case, it will be dropped including the tournaments were held in 2019 but did not hold this year including Asia. ApprenticeWiki work 12:08, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for your response. I understand the dropping points; it’s really clearly written in the article itself. My question is points won. It’s not clear how/why some players add multiple scores. Ie. Rublev. 10+90. I assume 10 is from the tournament itself and subject to change but from what is he adding an extra 90? Another case, Sonego 10+13? Another case Khachanov? Etc

If you could explain multiple points won? That would be awesome. Thanks Tobyjamesaus (talk) 06:09, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Miss Universe 2021 map

Hello! Thank you for making the results map for Miss Universe 2021, I just had two things about it. Is there any way you could separate Northern Ireland from Great Britain in the results? The highlight for Great Britain is currently representing the United Kingdom, while Northern Ireland competes as part of Ireland at Miss Universe since it is Miss Great Britain and not Miss United Kingdom. Secondly, could you change "Top 11" to "Top 16" in the results key? I would change these all myself but I don't know how to work with these maps. Thanks! { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 11:33, 13 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom (as Great Britain) but unlike Miss World has England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland competing separately. ApprenticeWiki work 11:37, 13 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Great Britain and the United Kingdom are not the same thing. Great Britain refers to Scotland, Wales, and England, while the United Kingdom includes Northern Ireland. In Miss Universe, Northern Ireland competes with Ireland, as you can the Irish representatives from both 2021 and 2020 were from Belfast in Northern Ireland. Also, could you please ping me with your responses here so I know when you answer? { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 11:45, 15 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your signature

Please be aware that your signature uses deprecated <font> tags, which are causing Obsolete HTML tags lint errors. As explained at WP:SIGFONT:

<font>...</font> tags were deprecated in HTML4 and are entirely obsolete in HTML5. This means that the popular browsers may drop support for them at some point. Wikipedia is already preparing for this by delinting code project-wide through Linter. When support finally is dropped, the tags will be ignored in all signatures; any properties such as color and font family will revert to their default values. For this reason, it is recommended that you use <span>...</span> tags and CSS properties instead.

I have prepared a replacement signature string for you. You are encouraged to change

An article you recently created, 2022 French Open – Women's singles qualifying, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) TAR Canada Map

On the map for TAR Canada 8, Akimiski Island is coloured in when it should not be; it is part of Nunavut, which was not visited. 96.48.233.241 (talk) 03:36, 22 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

The Amazing Race 33

Thank you for adding the contestants table to The Amazing Race 33. I took the liberty of making just a few modifications. The red background looked very harsh for the four contestants who couldn't resume the race, so I replaced it with a more neutral gray. Bgsu98 (talk) 16:28, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your signature and linter errors

Just a reminder that your signature contains obsolete font tags. They create Linter errors, and it is advised that you change your signature to [[User:ApprenticeFan|<span style="color:indigo;">'''ApprenticeWiki'''</span>]] [[:Special:Contributions/ApprenticeFan|'''''work''''']] ASAP.

The purpose of this message is because Linter errors affect the way the page looks, and with a lot of errors, the page may render badly. To reduce Linter errors, please change your signature.

If the software doesn't accept my replacement signature, let me know, and if that's the case, unfortunately you may have to change it to something else. Sheep (talk) 20:26, 29 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey, your signature's not changed.

<font>...</font> tags were deprecated in HTML4 and are entirely obsolete in HTML5. This means that the popular browsers may drop support for them at some point. Wikipedia is already preparing for this by delinting code project-wide through Linter. When support is finally dropped, the tags will be ignored in all signatures; any properties such as color and font family will revert to their default values. For this reason, it is recommended that you use <span>...</span> tags and CSS properties instead. For usage examples, see Wikipedia:Signature tutorial § Real-life examples.

It would be appreciated if you can change your signature to the one above. Thanks. Sheep (talk) 12:45, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

OK and done. Sorry for your appreciation and it works properly. It's now fixed. Font via code replaced by span. ApprenticeWiki contribs 12:49, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Bachelorette (Australian season 1), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Turnbull.

TAR - Express Pass

I don't personally think the Express Pass needs to be reflected in the results table, but I could see someone wanting to quickly check to see what leg a team used their Express Pass on, rather than have to scroll through the episode summaries. However, the orange is not a suitable color, per MOS:ONWHITE. I have gone ahead and switched to purple, which is on the list of suitable colors. Please check out this table: The Amazing Race 17#Results to see how it looks, and I will continue to switch over to purple as I edit these seasons. Bgsu98 (Talk) 23:34, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

2023 Tata Open Maharashtra moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, 2023 Tata Open Maharashtra, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. echidnaLives - talk - edits 09:01, 21 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive and illegible edits

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Cpotisch (talk) 09:08, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

These edits ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5]) had atrocious grammar and spelling issues, while these edits included wholly unsourced changes to content ([6] [7] [8]). These are just a tiny, tiny sample of the many edits you have made in the past week alone that have been littered with these issues. You have also been warned about this numerous times ([9], [10], [11][12]). It would also appear, per this past revision of your talk page, that you were in fact blocked for this issue. Please screen your edits for grammatical errors before publishing them, and make sure that they are well-sourced. Remember that competence is required to edit Wikipedia. Cpotisch (talk) 09:24, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am very sorry that I did not know what I have happened. English is not my first language although I am understood it that I memorize any English words. I hate to get warned and I have never blocked on Wikipedia before. ApprenticeWiki contribs 11:25, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I understand that English isn’t your primary language, but that doesn’t change the fact that you need to be able to write grammatically correct sentences to edit the English Wikipedia. Also, you absolutely have been blocked in the past (here and here) so don’t be dishonest. Cpotisch (talk) 18:50, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Both are IP addresses, the account in itself hasn't been blocked [13]. I have also been frustrated with the lack of competence from this editor. I think its about time this is addressed. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 01:47, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Definitely let me know if you see further disruptive edits and/or want to take it to ANI. I’ll back you up. Cpotisch (talk) 01:50, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at The Bachelor (American season 27). Your command of English is not strong enough to add text in English Wikipedia. This is being discussed at ANI, as you know. While that discussion was going on, you edited the article in the exact same manner that was reported to ANI. Please do not add text to Wikipedia articles in English. bonadea contributions talk 11:08, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry that I did not really disrupt plot summary. I was able to have my summarized on the first episode of The Bachelor. ApprenticeWiki contribs 11:11, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Your response here is not possible to understand. The plot summary you added (and restored after it had been removed by me) is not possible to understand. I do not think that you want to be disruptive. But editing articles to add text that is impossible to understand is disruptive. --bonadea contributions talk 11:37, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't really understand what I have did. I don't violate my edits through the plot summary rules that would be a proper Wikipedian. Survivor, The Amazing Race and Big Brother have good episode summaries. I hate going suspended to make with assume good faith. ApprenticeWiki contribs 11:39, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Bonadea: can you back me up at ANI, where I've raised these concerns. I see no reason why this user can be trusted to keep editing. Cpotisch (talk) 13:17, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   Salvio giuliano 14:00, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have been blocked by Salvio giuliano (talk · contribs) to make my privileges to continue editing in Wikipedia. I am an active user for almost 18 years and had never been blocked before. I will make civil and please let unblock my account to continue my contributions that I use to. I am totally frustrated for NOW. ApprenticeWiki contribs 14:04, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Wow, WP:TOOSOON. This doesn't come close to addressing the demonstrated WP:CIR concerns. It's unlikely you'll be unblocked until you demonstrate a substantial number of edits on a different wiki. Those edits should be in English and should consist of several hundred edits over at least six months. Be warned, the strong belief is that you are currently not capable of doing so. No offense intended, it's just that your demonstrated ability to communicate in English is simply not strong enough at this time. Yamla (talk) 14:07, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I have to agree with Yamla. Your unblock request demonstrates some of the core reasons why you were blocked: severe grammatical errors. With all respect, your English is so bad that your editing was far more frustrating to everybody else who had to clean up your messes that your block is to you. We have to go with the greater good and what is best for Wikipedia. Until you can demonstrate better skill in English, the community will almost certainly keep your account blocked. —C.Fred (talk) 14:12, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Unblock request (27 January 2023 (2))

It is been not more than 10 minutes I was disabled my editing. I didn't do vandalism, I never took sock puppetry. I hate to stay I am not a bad person. I hate being warned that I don't violate edit war.

My usual contributions that I edit are Grand Slam (tennis), beauty pageants and reality television.
