Emoji 17.0 is the presumed update that will provide new emojis alongside the Unicode 17.0 update to the Unicode Standard in September 2025.
There are currently 164 draft candidates announced for Emoji 17.0. Learn more here.
This will be the first set of emoji recommendations to be made by Unicode following the expected launch of Apple's Genmoji feature in December 2024.
