"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born."
- Anais Nin
Prompt: Friendship. How has a friend changed you or your perspective on the world this year? Was this change gradual, or a sudden burst? author: Martha Mihalick
I can think of one friend in particular, she has altered my view. It was a gradual shift of looking, at the glass as 1/2 full, not empty. I don't mean to be Debbie Downer, but when pain is nagging at me; I find my vision blurs. This friend emailed me, wrote me snail mailed me, sent me gifts and tilted my vision. She encouraged me to continue this blogging path and we became friends. She is talented, kind hearted and tries to see goodness in everything and everyone. My reality sometimes clouds my judgment, but I do see the glass fuller these days. I have always seen the beauty in nature n' kindness. I decided through my mind's eye to capture this, through a camera lens and by visiting other blogs. There is so much inspiration, you only need look... I know we all can have moments of blah, boring and blue, but when you try to look for the silver lining, you start to view things differently. It is about being open, being brave, and being you!
