Breath-taking is just the descriptor for it! I think when it is done like that, you can call it fine art. A klutz like me can only imagine what they do!
I entered my teens in the late 70s and entered my twenties in the mid-80s. I was considered to be a "good dancer." People asked me why I decided to do ballroom dancing in the mid-90s--One, I thought it looked cool. Second, it was harder (but more fun). Third, once women see you can make them look good when you dance with them...they tend to want to dance with you. Most importantly, you can ballroom dance well into your 80s to all types of music if you're still physically capable and won't look dumb "shaking it" like so many people who still dance like they did in the 1970s (without their 1970s bodies).

I think I pulled a muscle just watching that!

ReplyDeleteMy dancing talent was limited to the bump. Maybe that's why I enjoy watching good dancers.
ReplyDeleteArt it is. One of my favorite performances by Lindsey Zan and Ricardo Correa.

The strength and agility are amazing. Better athletes than some who call themselves an athlete.
