Leveraging Information Technology (IT) solutions emerge as a transformative approach to streamline operations, enhance user experience, and mitigate security risks associated with BYOD practices. Through a qualitative research methodology encompassing recent survey data, the study delves into managers' perceptions of BYOD challenges, identifying security concerns and compatibility issues as primary hurdles. Coping strategies employed by managers, including robust security protocols and technological solutions such as Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, are annotated. Additionally, the influence of organizational factors such as culture, leadership support, and resource allocation on coping strategies is explored. The findings contribute to novel insights into the complex dynamics of BYOD adoption, highlighting practical implications for organizational practice and avenues for future research. In essence, the paper underscores the imperative for organizations to adapt strategic IT solutions to effectively manage BYOD integration and enhancement of device management practices in alignment with contemporary business demands.

This research paper addresses the healthcare sector's cybersecurity challenges and explores strategies for protecting critical infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. Healthcare organizations increasingly rely on interconnected medical devices, IT systems, and patient data, making them prime targets for cyberattacks. The study draws on existing literature and presents a comprehensive framework for identifying and mitigating risks to healthcare infrastructure. Topics include security vulnerabilities, IT challenges, risk assessments, and threat mitigation strategies. The findings emphasize the need for robust cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard healthcare systems, reduce vulnerabilities, and improve resilience. Recommendations focus on enhanced risk management, IT governance, and proactive cybersecurity policies in healthcare.

It has become increasingly difficult to monitor computer networks as they have grown in scale and complexity. This lack of awareness makes responding to, or even recognizing, attacks a challenge. As a result, organizations' reactions to attacks are delayed, typically leaving them to address the situation long after an incident has taken place. The central idea behind this research is to provide earlier notification of potential network attacks by using deceptive network service information as bait. These "decoy" or honey-services will indicate system weak points which do not exist when suspicious network circumstances are detected. That is, although up-to-date versions of the programs will be running on the system at all times, vulnerable software versions will be advertised when a potential attack or reconnaissance effort is detected. Attacks against these services will be unsuccessful because the server running our system is not actually running the vulnerable services. Our system uses machine learning decision tree algorithm to detect anomaly from network traffic and it can change its own behavior from honeypot to IDS and IDS to IPS system. By providing fake vulnerable points, our system is capable of collecting information about attacks earlier in the reconnaissance phase, potentially catching adversaries in the act without exposing any actual system weaknesses. Our solution effectively transforms any legitimate server into a honeypot without the added overhead of setting up and maintaining a set of fake network infrastructure.

As organizations increasingly adopt Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, the associated security risks have escalated. This paper examines strategies to mitigate these risks, focusing on the integration of security measures within CI/CD pipelines. The study includes a thorough literature review on current security practices, identifies potential risks such as insider threats and supply chain vulnerabilities, and highlights the challenges of implementing security in complex, sector-specific production environments. Furthermore, the research emphasizes the importance of adopting DevSecOps practices, zero trust architectures, and robust access control mechanisms to secure production environments. The paper concludes by proposing future research directions, particularly in the areas of emerging technologies and the role of human factors in security.

The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically transformed the operational landscapes of organizations worldwide, particularly concerning Information Technology (IT) governance. This paper critically examines the profound effects and varied applications of IT governance during this period, emphasizing the challenges introduced by widespread remote work, escalating cybersecurity threats, and evolving compliance demands. By conducting an extensive qualitative review of contemporary literature, this study identifies critical gaps, and the adaptive strategies employed in IT governance during the pandemic. The findings offer valuable insights and practical recommendations for IT firms, especially startups, aiming to develop resilient and compliant IT governance frameworks capable of withstanding future global disruptions.
