Step 1: Get pumpkins Run, do not walk, to Walmart where plastic pumpkin pails are only $1.00 while supplies last. For one planter, purchase 5 pumpkins. Supplies: ✨Plastic pumpkin bucket ✨Matte Acrylic paint (used pure orange & rose beige) ✨Flour or baking soda ✨Paint brushes (one for painting & one for dusting) ✨Workable Fixatif (for sealing) ✨Potting soil ✨Plant (mums) or flower of choice (used 4 & 5in mums, 5in you have to form the dirt/root a tad but fits perfectly and fills it out nice.) Directions: 1. Drill or puncture small hole in the bottom of pumpkin for drainage. 2. If using two colors, mix paint until you get the color of your liking. 3. Cover entire pumpkin in terra cotta colored paint.
