Ashley | Artsy Blevs | Art Teacher on Instagram: "Coming up next… @crayola Model Magic all around 🎉🥳. This is the first year I didn’t order clay and only ordered model magic 🙈. This tired art teacher has no regrets lol. We are using markers and ink daubers to dye the model magic instead of painting so I’m excited for a relatively messy-free sculpting experience this year 😆🤪🙏. Tip- butcher paper is my favorite surface for building and drying model magic if you struggle with sticking! ❤️Kindergarten is making cookies and reading “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” 🧡First is making ice cream pops 💛Second is making Ice Cream Sundaes (lesson from @katieplus4 😍) 💚Third is making donuts, a yearly tradition as long as I’ve been teaching, and they’ve been asking about them all year lol 😆🍩 Pop Art Food, Mouse A Cookie, Making Donuts, Tire Art, Model Magic, Ice Cream Pops, Make Ice Cream, Butcher Paper, Ice Cream Sundae

The children and I had two productive afternoons crafting our snowman ornaments for the Christmas tree. I decided to try out Crayola Model Magic which took about 24 hours to dry, and then painted on the details. We also made gift tags for our friends and family. I discovered that the paint and marker combination on the tags weren't very effective.
