Elle Hervin on Instagram: "Colour drenching my vintage bedroom - Part Two ✨️. This is hands down one of the best decorating decisions I've ever made. I put this off for months because I couldn't bear the thought of painting the ceiling, and it is definitely an unpleasant job 😵‍💫😅, but so very worth it. Instead of using just one shade, this technique incorporates multiple hues from the same colour family to create a more dynamic, layered look. The key is selecting related colours with varying depths, undertones or intensities, adding dimension and interest to the space.

I chose a red-based ‘double drench’ scheme for this bedroom, creating a cohesive space where the colours complement one another beautifully.

For the ceiling, I used Little Greene’s Ferdi Double Drenching Bedroom, Double Colour Drenching, Colour Drenched Bedroom, Double Drenching, Colour Drenching Bedroom, Colour Drenching, Red Pigment, Celestial Blue, Little Greene Paint
