Catherine de Valois was the daughter of France's King Charles VI and a sister of Charles VII. She married King Henry V of England and was the mother of Henry VI. Her relationship with Welshman Owen Tudor gave history the Tudor dynasty.

Catherine de Valois Queen of England (1401-1437),daughter of Charles VI of France and Isabeau of Bavaria. After two years of marriage, Catherine became a widow. She then entered into a sexual relationship with Welshman Owen ap Maredudd ap Tudor, who, in 1421, in France, had been in the service of Henry V's steward Sir Walter Hungerford.
