Yeah, maybe they outwardly express popular opinion, but again, we don’t know what’s going on through people’s heads
I was a complete shit lib with nationalist thoughts for years
I'm a normie at work.
IE should brand as normies but stay plugged into broader dissident meme culture that keeps the normie distinction. Like how socialists accomplished all the goals of communism while using communism as proof they were normal.
I believe the correct denomyn of Ohioans is "Buckeyes"
Muh corn and buckeyes
Since identity online is non unitary you can literally have it both ways if you have the headspace for it.
Pepsi is correct insofar as the "average" person might not feel comfortable joining a taboo group. The danger here -- and I'm not accusing him of this -- is creating an in-group (people with our views) vs. out-group (people without our views) distinction, and then saying "there's no use appealing to normies." People use that as an excuse to be careless and remain fringe.

I'm a normie in the streets, and a normie at home too
A similar issue is defining "the movement" as us and every other taboo right-wing group in society.
"The movement is IE, TWP, and Patrick Little!" is still how some people think.
I consider us an identitarian wing of the broader populist movement in America.
I think our views are pretty normal. If you really pry into the head of any middle class white person they’re thinking this
More emphasis on the identitarian definition.
The moment you find out you are a normie is the moment you cease to be a normie.
Rather than an identitarian wing of 1.0.
Normies must be programmed not convinced.
lmao wat
bro
*w a t*
Lol
Calm down @Gibson
@Zilna Jestov but I like being a normie
deprogrammed not programmed hwat
He's right to some extent -- a large portion of the population will accept whatever the ruling class promulgates (with some exceptions).

The moment you think you don't have <:avtism:359037377919844352> is the moment you become a normie.
We don't need to convince *everyone*. And if/when we gain power, and manage to hold onto it, after decades people will just go along with it.
Its the only solution, "The Beginning Problem"
welcome @total_moot !
@Perihelion - CA Lol YES.
But again, the danger therein lies with saying "well if we don't need to win over everyone may as well not worry about optics" etc.
I personally don't think we need to convince *anyone*. If we just focus on improving ourselves and the optics of our movement, people will naturally gravitate to our side imo. As soon as we try to convince people of something they will retaliate.
Yeah, normie isn't about opinions, it's about whether you do or don't have the ability to be objective and buck the status quo
Always be careful when talking about normies, you never know if one is around and could hear you. They will start to resent your degradation of their normie-dom, and they will plot the day when they can use their normie network to subvert you. Lesson being: *Always* be nice to a *normie*
If you are in this group your not a normee. If you don't question authority your a normee
Optics is better at convincing most people than logic/debating

@Reinhard Wolff you basically summed up what I'm saying. I was making the point that to be populistic AT THE CURRENT TIME wouldn't be smart because we'd have to change or dilute our beliefs.
