Quick question, what shape is the earth ? @SunRazor

2019-10-11 03:48:42 UTC

He is an astrophtsiciss also

2019-10-11 03:48:49 UTC

now, since all atoms have protons and electrons, then ALL atoms are charged capacitors

2019-10-11 03:48:52 UTC

African space man

2019-10-11 03:49:08 UTC

and since even neutrons contain charged quarks, even neutrons are charged capacitors

2019-10-11 03:49:52 UTC

Quarks?

2019-10-11 03:50:01 UTC

@Matt77 the shape of the universe is unknowable at the moment

2019-10-11 03:50:02 UTC

so I considered what if (what would the math look like if) the gravitation force was reall the same phenomenon as water being pulled into the the parallel plate capacitor

2019-10-11 03:50:18 UTC

and that the gravitational force was the result of a gradient in permittivity of the vacuum

2019-10-11 03:50:36 UTC

Yes but sunrazor said it is the flat

2019-10-11 03:50:37 UTC

<@632060330834395153> that’s not what we mean

2019-10-11 03:50:43 UTC

so I got to work with the math

2019-10-11 03:50:53 UTC

not done yet

2019-10-11 03:50:56 UTC

but still holding together

2019-10-11 03:51:16 UTC

Shape of Earth?

2019-10-11 03:51:21 UTC

it is a

2019-10-11 03:52:22 UTC

following a Fourier Series type model, the sum of all surface geometry of the Earth averages nearly to a sphere

2019-10-11 03:52:50 UTC

Nearly?

2019-10-11 03:52:53 UTC

nearly

2019-10-11 03:53:10 UTC

So one part is just a cube

2019-10-11 03:53:17 UTC

there are many cubes

2019-10-11 03:53:24 UTC

many different shapes

2019-10-11 03:53:29 UTC

Or heavily dimensioned shape

2019-10-11 03:53:33 UTC

if you add them all together, you end up with a sphere

2019-10-11 03:53:37 UTC

not a perfect sphere

2019-10-11 03:53:39 UTC

It’s wider in the middle

2019-10-11 03:53:47 UTC

wider at the equator

2019-10-11 03:53:56 UTC

Yeah that

2019-10-11 03:54:32 UTC

and that's due to the centripetal acceleration (or as some say centrifugal)

2019-10-11 03:54:44 UTC

Or or or

2019-10-11 03:54:47 UTC

or

2019-10-11 03:54:48 UTC

What does centripetal mean

2019-10-11 03:54:56 UTC

You could just say, us spinning

2019-10-11 03:54:57 UTC

towards the center

2019-10-11 03:55:04 UTC

accelerating towards the center

2019-10-11 03:55:46 UTC

the centripetal acceleration is perpendicular to the direction of motion

2019-10-11 03:56:35 UTC

why make me think

2019-10-11 03:56:50 UTC

why not use little brain words

2019-10-11 03:56:59 UTC

I always viewed gravity this way...fabric of spacetime, gravity is a sort of distortion caused by large objects in spacetime, and it pulls stuff in, etc. @SunRazor

2019-10-11 03:57:14 UTC

@oƃǝW That is how I believed it to be
