Aujourd'hui j'aimerais vous parler d'un joli magasin que j'ai découvert en allant à Londres . Situé à Twickenham dans la banlieue sud-ouest de Londres , "Mrs Moon " est un très beau magasin de laine , accessoires et livres de tricot . Les vitrines sont belles et bien faites et à l'intérieur du magasin on trouve un très beau choix de fils et de livres . C'est un très bel endroit à découvrir .

Faith

La première fois que j'ai tricoté ce modèle , c'était avec de la Rowan Classic Bamboo Soft et je n'en garde pas un bon souvenir . Il s'est tout agrandi et maintenant ce sont les chats qui en profitent en faisant dodo dessus parce que je ne peux plus le porter .

The first time I knitted this cardigan , I used some Rowan Classic Bamboo Soft and it was horrible . It lenghtened a lot and now my cats sleep on it because I can't wear it anymore .

Mannequin brodé

J'adore les mannequins de couture , alors quand
Maman m'a offert cette broderie sur lin , il fallait que je trouve un modèle de sac
qui me plaisait vraiment pour la mettre en valeur .

I love dress forms so when my mother offered me this embroidery
I had to find the perfect bag pattern to enhance it .

Pour l'Amour du Fil 2011 .

Pour la 3ième fois , j'ai eu la chance d'aller avec Maman au salon
"Pour l'Amour du Fil " à Nantes . Le temps était magnifique et nous avons été charmées par les expositions , comme chaque année .

For the third time Mum and I had the chance to go to the show
"Pour l'Amour du Fil " at Nantes . The weather was great and we found that the exhibitions were lovely , as usual .

Ce sont les patchworks de Yoko Saïto que nous avons préférés . Nous avions découvert ses quilts pour la première fois en 2004 au Carrefour Européen du Patchwork en Alsace et à chaque fois nous sommes ravies de pouvoir admirer son travail ( et celui de ses petites mains ) .

Yoko Saïto exhibition was the one we loved the most . We found out her work in 2004 in Alsace at the quilt show " Le Carrefour Européen du Patchwork "
and we are delighted each time we see her quilts .

Nous avons aussi adoré les patchs de Petra Prins .

We also loved Petra Prins quilts .

Et aussi les penny rugs et hook rugs de Bonnie Sullivan .
