Hello and welcome to my blog. You are visiting Denita, from Australia.
The Stamping Sunday Design Team have a Blog Hop using the Card Kits within the Annual and Occasions Catalogues.
We hope you get tons of inpsiration from our creations, and some different ways to create the cards.

I don't know about you, but I absoloutely love the 'Lots of Happy Card Kit'.
This kit is filled with everything you need to make 20 cards.

I took 1 hexagon card base and cut it in half! Yep - you can do it.
The floral hexagon piece I flipped to create a different layout, and I added a square frame on the back of the sentiment using 'Basic Black' cardstock.

The fun part was the watercolouring with the watercolour pencils within the kit.
The colours are: Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive & Rich Razzleberry.
(I blended using a 'Blender Pen'.)

My little embellishment.
A bit of 'Mini Gold Sequin Trim', and a 'Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine' bow.
You can also see (just!) the stamped off flower image on the card front.

Here is the kit - isn't it lovely?
I think 'Lots of Happy' is the perfect name for it.

Stampin' Up! have created a YouTube video to show you the 'Lots of Happy Card Kit'.
You can view everything contained in the kit, how to watercolour using the 'Watercolor Pencils', and how to create the cards as per the Instructions enclosed within. Enjoy!

Thankyou for visiting me, and I encourage you to visit the rest of the Design Team for all your Card Kit inspiration.
Dani Dziama is our Guest Designer for this hop - welcome Dani, and I can't wait to see what you have come up with!

Have a wonderful Sunday. D x

This fortnight we have an 'Animals' Theme Challenge for the inspire.create.stamping Challenges.
Go and find your stamp sets with 'Animals', and join us for this fun Challenge. We can't wait to see your cute critter creations. Add your projects to our gallery here.
https://inspirecreatechallenges.blogspot.com.au/2018/02/inspirecreatechallenges-012-theme.html
There are quite a few stamp sets with 'Animals', however I have used the 'We Must Celebrate' - with the cutest critters, from the Occasions Catalogue.
And thanks to my wonderful downline for letting me borrow her precious set for this occasion.

 'Happy Easter'
How adorable is this bunny? He is the cutest little thing, and perfect for our 'Animals' Theme Challenge.
The 'Happy Easter' sentiment is from the other bunny stamp set; 'Sweet Little Something'.

My boys decided the bunny needed to be grey with a white tummy.
I stamped onto 'Smoky Slate', Whisper White' & 'Powder Pink' cardstock and paper pieced my Easter Bunny.

I love how he sits on the Vellum circle with the basket weave underneath - the divine NEW Embossing Folder which is a NEW Sale-a-Bration item 'Blossoming Basket Bundle'.

I coloured the 'White Organza Ribbon' using the 'Old Olive Light Stampin' Blends Marker'. How awesome does it look?, and not to mention how fantastic to be able to change your White ribbon with 'Stampin' Blends' for your projects!

10 mini eggs can fit in my 'Mini Pizza Box'.
A nice number of little treats in some cute packaging!

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and make sure you visit the inspire.create Design Team Members blogs for their cute 'Animals' creations. I can't wait to see what they come up with.
Have a wonderful day. D x

Global Design Project - Colour Challenge #gdp125

It's a Bright Colour Challenge for this weeks Global Design Project #gdp125, and I think I have made it in by the skin of my teeth!
http://www.global-design-project.com/2018/02/global-design-project-colour-challenge.html

Seeing as it's Chinese New Year and celebrations are happening around the world, I decided to create something using the 'Color Me Happy' stamp set.

Holly Stene inspired me greatly for this creation. Ever since Holly created her lantern themed cards, I have wanted to create something similar.
For this Challenge I have used the 'Color Me Happy' stamp set + 'Aqua Painters'.
Holly used the 'Color Me Happy' stampset + 'Stampin' Blends'.
(You can see Holly's creations here)

Stamping onto 'Shimmery White' cardstock, I coloured my lanterns using an 'Aqua Painter' and the 3 Challenge colours.
Starting with the 'Daffodil Delight' in the middle, then adding the 'Dapper Denim' & 'Melon Mambo' from light to dark.
I stamped onto 'Whisper White' cardstock for the string and the 3 lanterns. Each coloured lantern was fussy-cut and a 'Stampin' Dimensional' added to the back, then adhered to the card.
I added the sentiment using 'Labeler Alphabet' stamp set.
Thankyou for visiting. I'll see you next time. D x
