When I'm out foraging for 'drift' (that means free floating or washed up on the beach) seaweed I really try to collect sparsely, but a nice a variety of specimens. Seaweed pressings. The seaweed have been placed onto watercolour paper ready for a few tiny tidy-ups

Once I have floated the pieces of seaweed into a pleasing position on my watercolour paper I use a small paint brush to just tidy up any last bits.
