from an uncut square. Designed and folded by Seth Friedman.  This model is the pigeon that I wanted to design for a long time.  Although my first pigeon design is very popular, and more viewed and liked then any of my other models, I have never been very satisfied with it.  Its proportions were way off, and the crease pattern was so bad too.  Tons of paper was wasted!  So here is my new one which I'm much more satisfied with. When folded using two-color origami paper, this bird resembles an origami pigeon and looks amazing. The body of this lovely origami bird can look more realistic by having a distinct color or pattern from the head when using two-sided or colored paper.
