Turkey vest

Traditional costume labeled 'Kırklareli'. Style: people’s militia, ca. 1900 (with two vests: a long-sleeved ‘cepken’, and a second one with hanging sleeves on top of it). This is a recent workshop-made copy, as worn by folk dance groups. White or light brown men costumes are generally associated with the southern part of Thrace (Silivri, Tekirdağ).

The trousers and the two vests are recent (2001) workshop-made copies, as worn by folk dance groups; most of the accessories are authentic, some even antique.
