Finished :D

Hiya
I've finished all my thankyou cards...yey! I cut and inked them last night, and then sat doing the sewing while watching a dvd last night, and put 'em togther today :)
There's a mixture of papers. Mainly k&co, and then some others which i don't know the make of. I inked them with Walnut Stain distress ink, added sentiments with my Studio G alphabet set, and fastened silk flowers on with a brad.

Flowery thankyou

Ello :)
I'm making a start on my birthday thankyou cards. And the plan is to get them all done by tomorrow, but i've only done one so far!
I've cut the card with my nesties. And used k&co paper, walnut stain and antique linen distress inks, stamped sentiment, stitching, and flowers from my stash.
I'm gonna do them all similar, so the next ones should be fairly quick.

Mint Choc Chip Tilda : )

Hey!

Well, i've had the most amazing week. Last weekend was Mum's party, then her birthday. Then I broke up from school on Thursday, and yesterday was my birthday! :)

I had the best birthday ever. Got some lovely pressies from the family, then went to The Stampman demo weekend to spend some pennies :) I got some gorgeous cards from Debbie and Vix...thanks lovelys! And bought some yummy Tim Holtz goodies. A fab day. It was nice seeing everyone!

Today, I had a lazy morning as i wasn't feeling great, then we went out for a meal with grandma and grandad, which was nice. Even if i was half asleep, but y'know! :)

Anyways, the card...

I've kept it quite simple this time. The papers are so gorgeous, that i couldn't bare covering them up! I've used Sweet Tilda again, and coloured her with distrss inks. The papers are from the Basic Grey - Capelle collection, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and a computer made sentiment, cut out with nesties. I've sprayed the whole card with gold glimmer mists, and finished with pearls and stickles.

Tilda is coloured with distress inks:

Dress, Socks and Bows - Broken China then Antique Linen (to match the papers)

Shoes, Hair and other dress-ness - Walnut Stain

Skin - Tattered Rose, Antique linen

Floor - Walnut Stain

I'm entering it in these challenges:

Stamp Something - Something Flowery

By the way...

Top Tip - If you drop a camera on the floor from a height, it will break. I discovered that earlier just as we were going out, so have to buy a new one now :( But for now, the trusty old Kodak is out again!

Pearl Wedding Anniversary

Hey!
Todays card is a fairly quick/simple one, which i've made for my aunty and uncles pearl wedding anniversary in August.
I used my sizzix butterfly die, and then embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder. Blossom nesties, d'vine swirls embossing folder, Antique Linen distress ink, and pearls. The whole card is sprayed with gold glimmer mist, but you can't really see it in the pics.

Hey everyone!

Today is my lovely Mum's 50th birthday, and here's the card I made for her (which I only finished about an hour ago hehe)

I've used my new 'Sweet Tilda' stamp, and K&co papers, which i got from Sir Stampalot last week. The stitching is all done by hand, cause i'm daft!, then i've added flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, x-cut punched little flowers, pearls, gems and stickles glitter glue.

I've coloured Tilda with distress inks:

Skin - Antique Linen & Tattered Rose

Hair - Walnut Stain & Antique Linen

Dress, Socks & Bows - Barn Door

Lexi's creations DT...stitching!

Hey hey hey!

It's time for another challenge at Lexi's Creations! And this time, we want to see stitching...real or faux. Nearlly everyone likes using stitching on their cards, so we want to see lots of entries :)

My card is made using the gorgeous Aloria from Lexi's Doodles, which is coloured with promarkers - Sky Blue, Aqua, Pastel Blue, Pastel Green, Cool Grey 1 & 2 and the blender.

I've used Papermania Capsule Collection papers, prima flowers, that sentiment again, that i'm really loving, nesties, and finished with pearls, glitter and brads.

I can't find any challenges to enter :(

hugs and kisses + yummyness

Hey bloggers :)
This card was sooo fun to make :) I've used Noble Tilda (again), and stamped her to sit on the sentiment, which is done on the computer. The papers are by the paper cellar, and are my favourite ever. They are sooooo gorgeous and this is the last of them :( I've added flowers from wild orchid crafts, a doily, pearls, glitter glue, inkyness and faux stitching...et voila!

Tilda is coloured with distress inks:

Hair - Walnut Stain

Skin - Antique Linen, Tattered Rose

Dress + shoes - Tattered Rose

Bow - Antique Linen

Rose - Walnut Stain

Leaves - Peeled Paint

I've just realised i've cut her earing off :( I'll sort it out...

Now i've got some piccies of yummyness to show you :)
I made this white chocolate cheesecake this afternoon, and it's gorgeous (if i do say so myself!)
I couln't find a nice recipe for a chocolate one, so i used a rasberry one and adapted it a bit. There's milk chocolate in the base, and white chocolate in the filling...yum!
I might do a recipe post sometime :)

Decorated photo frame

Ello :)

I'm back...yippeee! Mr mojo hasn't been playing lately, so i ordered a loadof flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and found him in the box with them! Omg, i see why everyone loves these flowers...they're stunning!

This is the photo frame i wrote about a couple of weeks ago. My new flowers were just perfect to finish it :)

The frame is from Matalan, covered with a mixture of torn up tissues and white paint to create the texture. Then it is inked with walnut stain distress ink, glittered with star dust stickles, and glitz it gold glitter glue, and the whole thing is painted with rock candy crackle paint. Then i inked some flowers with walnut stain, and finished with pearls.

I'm gonna give it to mum for her birthday :)

Trying to show the texture. The glue's still wet haha

I'm entering it in the Belli Challenge - Alter it, and Sir Stampalot - lazy hazy days of summer

I'll be back in a minute with another card :)
