Getty Ready for the New Year

I celebrated my Birthday today and that just mean another year has gone by.  Boy as we get older the years seem to be coming faster.  I had a wonderful time with my family and dear neighbors.  We are celebrating again tomorrow with left overs.  Topped the night off with crafting, my favorite.  I created my new Etsy "Happy New Year" vintage Banner.

Back in July of this year (2010)   I had opened a new Etsy shop using the user name Marie1204 not knowing that this would also be my store name.  After working countless hours I noticed that this name was not getting me much business because it was not very searchable.  So last week I decided to take the plunge anput in some elbow grease.  I opened a new Etsy shop that fit more with what I was creating. I chose a name that would suite my products better,  hence Vintage Paris Market.  I am having a grand opening.  You get a free gift with every 20.00 purchase.  Please stop by and let me know what you think.  More photos of my shop to follow.

Vintage Inspired Muslin Ribbon and Tags

I have decided to go vintage.  It seems to be the latest craze and I love it.  I spend almost 3 weeks in Europe this summer with my family and most of the time was in Paris, France.  We all love Fench and French style.  Boy do these French people know fashion.  So its only natural for me to be inspired by them.  The Vintage tags and Muslin ribbons I worked on this weekend and listed on Etsy was all French inspired.  I used French script, The Eifell Tower, fleur de lis and more.  One of our sight seeing spot in France was Versailles.  It was beautiful and very Elegant and VINTAGE.  Thus the inspiration.  I hope you enjoy the items I created and get a little inspiration yourself. Please let me know what you think?  Go to my Etsy Shop to see more of the Vintage items I created.
