My top 10 cards of 2011

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful christmas and that santa was good to you.

I have had no time to craft as my little one has got a severe chest infection, bronchiolitis, and is on antibiotics and steroids, shes been very poorly the last couple of days, and tbh its been a bit scary. But hopefully shes on the mend.

I have seen loads of bloggers put on their top 10 cards of the year and i wanted to join in.

 This was the first stamp I ever bought, and it lay in my stamp drawers untouched for about 3 years.

One of my fav cards ever, I love her pink hair!

I was so pleased to win top 5 at TOMIC with this card

This was my first ever saturated canary card, and it started a slight obsession with them! lol

Cant leave this one out as it is my favorite stamp of all time!

And yet another SC card, told you i was obsessed!

Merry Christmas

Hi all, just thought I would pop on and wish everyone a very merry Christmas, I hope you all get some lovely goodies from santa and have a wonderful day with family and friends.

I have had the most amazing time this past 6 months, I have made some amazing new friends and been lucky enough to join some brilliant design teams.

Lets Celebrate!

Hi everyone, Well are you all organized? I am so not ready, between Maya's birthday on christmas eve then christmas I am running around like a headless chicken, do you know how hard it is to get a birthday cake at christmas? I am off to try again tomorrow, wish me luck! lol

Right, lets get onto the new challenge over at Paper sundaes, which will last for two weeks this time as we are having a break for the holidays. We are sponsored this time by Stamp and create. So whats the challenge? well we want to see your celebration cards. This can be anything from christmas to new baby. I have used one of my new tildas from my stamp club. I am loving these stamps they are just so cute. I have set a challenge for myself though, I am not allowed to buy any more from the new collection till i have used every stamp from the club set. So I am going to have to sit on my hands and hide the credit card till I use all the stamps.

Wonder If I have the willpower?!!!

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well and all ready for christmas. Just thought I would share a couple of christmas cards that i have made for family members.

I have used an older gorjuss girls stamp that I had forgotten about, shame on me!! lol

I was inspired to have a go at the no lines technique on kraft after i saw 3 tags on my friend Saras blog during the week. Now this is my first attempt so dont laugh! and its no where near as good as Sara's

Morning everyone, Im running a bit late with this post as my two youngest kids have horrible colds, and are feeling very sorry for themselves, so only cuddles from mummy are making them feel better.

This is a very quick post to say its time for a new challenge over at Anything Goes, so for the next two weeks we want to see anything but a card.  I have chosen to make a tag 'a la Tim' Of course I have added my fav flowers to the tag and also little red apples that I got from a decorative sprig thing I bought from asda for 38p! Oh how I love a bargain. The holly leaves are from that too.

Oh and before you think I have suddenly got very creative and great at taking pictures, I had nothing to do with theses, it was Meghan. She is taking a higher course on photography and she is a natural at it.

I want a candy cane that size!!!

Hi everyone, gosh isnt the week going so quickly, hope everyone isnt too frazzled with christmas preparations?

My list seems to be getting longer, not shorter!!! lol

Well its time for a new challenge over at Paper sundaes and also time for a new challenge at Dream Valley.

 This is my first dt card for dream valley so I am very excited.

I would have normally made 2 separate cards but I
 Luckily both challenges are 'christmas'.

A couple of 60th birthday cards

Afternoon all, Just thought I would pop in to show you a couple of birthday cards I was commisioned to make recently. This was quite a big order from my sisters friend and I will let you see the other 3 soon.

Both of these were for female 60th birthdays. They are a bit different from my normal style as there is no main image as such, but I am quite pleased how they turned out.

First DT card for Crafty Creations

Noel Tilda....

Morning everyone, before you fall over in surprise that Im posting this early, its ok I have scheduled this post. I had a very productive day yesterday and managed to get a couple of cards made.

The first one i have to share is gorgeous tilda that I coloured to go with my Maja designs vintage winter pad that I bought a few weeks ago but couldnt find the courage to use it as its so lush and I only bought one pad!! May have to go and buy another to make feel better lol!!!

I also had a play with my Tim Holtz vintage noel die. I used a piece of card covered with double sided sticky sheets, then threw loads of gold glitter at it and made a right mess of everything , seriously I had glitter everywhere including a very sparkly dog again!!!
He was not impressed, so had to get the hoover out to clean him up, dont worry he loves the hoover Lol!!

Anyway both him and I are finally glitter free, (I think!!) so here is my card.

Serious amounts of glitter!! Love it lol
