New DT Call

Here at Crafty Bloggers Network we looking for design team members.

We are an active Facebook group where crafty people can share their blogs and work for others to admire. We also run a challenge blog where there is a new challenge each month sponsored by different companies such as Indigo Blu, Crafters Companion, Elizabeth Bell stamps etc.

DT members  will be expected to:
1.    Meet post commitments - one for the first week of the month + 2 others (you will be able to use other DT projects for your other posts unless our sponsors require otherwise but this is rare),
2.    Post 1 Technique or hints and tips post per 6 months (maybe less depending on the number of DT members),
3.    leave comments on our wonderful entrants cards (a number system is employed and you will be allocated 2 numbers)
4.    Be an active member in Crafty Blogger Network Facebook group and leave  a number of comments on your allotted day

We also ask that you promote us on your own blog where possible and sign your comments with the CBN name in order to get the group "out there" so to speak.
You will get sponsors images or stamps to use where appropriate and these are yours to keep.

We all keep in touch using a Facebook group and as such you will need a Facebook profile.

If you would like to join our friendly team then please email [email protected] with a brief introduction and your blog address and 3 pictures of what you consider to be your best work.

Celbrity Guest Blogger with Hayley West

Another in our series of Celebrity Guest Bloggers, this time its the turn of Hayley, pictured here with Nigel May.

Name Hayley West

If you have a blog, what's the blog address..? hayley-west.blogspot.co.uk

How long have you been crafting? Since I was a child

How did you start crafting? I can't remember....I don't ever remember not crafting

What do you watch/listen to when you're creating? I love listening to music but I have to make sure it's not calming music or I never get anything done.

When creating a project, do you plan it out or go with the flow? I go with the flow, which can be a nightmare if I have to write instructions because I often can't remember exactly how I got to the finished result.

Do you enjoy stepping out of your zone when creating new projects? Yes, although not always initially, but once I've cracked it I'm glad I took on the challenge

When is the best time for you to create? Usually at night when the kids have gone to bed.

What quality do you like and admire in others? People who have a go, it don't matter if you're good or bad at something but the fact that you tried it. 'Give it a go or you'll never know'

Here is some of the wonderful jewellery Hayley has created recently
