Well Logan starts his Standard grades today!! (O'levels, GCSE's Depending on your age!!)  I hardly slept a wink last night, but he seems cool as a cucumber! Typical!
Well this fortnights challenge over at songbird challenge is

I have used this sweet Tilda from the christmas collection, and coloured her with my copics, I have used distress inks around the edges of the image, dusty concord and a touch of faded jeans. the flowers are a mix of Kort & Godt and WOC, the ribbon lace and pearls are from my stash! The gorgeous papers are Maja vintage spring basics..

Wooo Hooo Look where I am!!!

How Chuffed am I!!!

Now you all know how much I love my Maggies!! So I am absolutely delighted to share with you that I have been lucky enough to win a place on the super talented Simply Magnolia design team, Wooo Hoooo!!!!

I can't begin to tell you how nervous I was to contribute my first card to the blog! And the wonderful challenge this fortnight is a pocket card, which I have never made before!!! GULP!! So here it is my first simply Magnolia DT card, and my first pocket card!

Note to self next time put straight edges, much easier to trim! Lol!! Well I am kinda pleased with this one! really loving this stamp from the new collection, soooo cute! As soon as I saw this little butterflies wee buggy face I thought "hmm I've seen that before"!! and low and behold I found the wee fella on my tag at the bottom of a draw un-inked! I have coloured the images with my copics and the beautiful papers are Maja, with the ribbon and lace from my stash!

Lets get masculine over at Basic grey!!

HI lovely crafting peeps!

Sorry for the Deja Vu moment! I know I made a very similar card a few months back, but hubby really liked it and requested one for his birthday which is May 1st, and Voila! (yes I know I am a little Francais today!! Lol!!) The Challenge over at Basic Grey this Time is :

I have used a funny Bugaboo image which is coloured with my ever reliable Copics! the papers are from Basic Grey "Oxford"  6x6 pad. I am not totally happy with this one! but isn't that always the way when you are making an important card?

a little bit of Saturated Canary, Pastel style!

Hi there lovely peeps!

Well may I start with an apology! 

Can you believe it after after saying the spr#ng  word yesterday, ... yes it has happened ... it is snowing this morning!!!!!!!!! So My heartfelt apologies to anyone who has snow this morning! and a super apololgy to No. 1. son, Logan who left for a weeks camp with cadets this morning!!  Ooops!

Well my craft room is, I would say 90% finished now, got frustrated at myself yesterday and had a bit of a burst of tidying!! :) Hopefully I will post some pics when totally finished!! But I do think that the nicer environment is starting to wake the old mojo!! (fingers crossed!)

So this is a just for fun card I made this week;

I have used the beautiful Easter Dress that can be found here I photo shopped out the cute bunny, but again it shows just how versatile these beautiful digi stamps are!!!

I have coloured the image with my Copics: Skin E000,00,11 and R11 and 20. Dress and boots,  RV91,93 and flex marker pale blossom, with a hint of RV10 to "pink it up a little"!!, BG70, 71 (my own blend) and 72 and T0, 1 and 3. The flowers are a mix of Kort & godt, WOC and live and love crafts, I have used beautiful maja papers which along with the gorgeous lace is also from LLC, I gave the butterfly a bit of the Frantage treatment, a bit of shabby pink, and blue and pink fragments! It's amazing how it turned an ordinary die cut into a beautiful embellishment!

Clean and Simple over at Basic Grey

Good Morning Lovely Crafters!

Well dare I say it.... but I do think spring is finally starting to take hold here!! The sun is warm and the birds are singing their wee hearts out!! Just watch it will snow tomorrow again! lol!

Sweet Tilda with corkscrews

I have to admit I fell in love with this stamp the second I clapped eyes on her! 

Thank goodness she was part of the stamp club as she was just about it's only saving grace!!! super Mario Edwin?? and that clown Tilda!!!! now we all know clowns are evil, but that stamp is ugly too!!!! Lol!!

Anyhoo the deets for my card! I have used the afore mentioned Tilda with corkscrews, I can't believe how many ideas I have for this stamp! so I dare say you will be seeing her soon enough again!! I have coloured her with my copics,  Skin E000, 00, 11, 21, Hair E42, 44, 51 Dress and crown, RV91 and 93 and  Flex promarker, pale blossom. the beautiful papers are Maja Vintage summer. the metal corner, crown and heart pin have all been given a liberal frantage treatment! I so love this stuff, but haven't mastered putting it around the image delicately yet!! The flowers are WOC and kort & Godt. Pearls are WOC.

I so wish that the frantage had come out better in in pic!! it is soo pretty in real life!!

Good afternoon songbirds!

Well this fortnight we have a  really exciting theme for our challenge!
