On our recent short visit to Vegas we did venture out of the hotel to see the latest display at the Bellagio gardens. This is the latest theme:
"The Bellagio has debuted its spring display themed “Japanese Garden,” which features over 65,000 flowers.
The garden is ornamented with floral birds and finches and at the center of the display is an ode to Mother Nature. She stands 26 feet tall as she “rises” from the water.
The garden also features a koi pond, waterfall and a teahouse.
Above the garden are 12 paper lanterns and birds made out of seeds. Three vases are decorated with flower petals and leaves.
The display will be up through June 3."
Sorry but this post will be a little picture heavy!

I'm not sure if you are able to spot the water pouring from mother nature's hands.
You can't see it from my photo but this bird cage was full of real birds.
The magical cherry blossom walkway which I forgot to walk through!
Another beautiful display. We arrived quite early in the morning but the area was already packed with people so it's quite hard to take photos without loads of tourists posing in front of everything! It definitely appears to be becoming an even more popular place to visit in Vegas.
Then it was back to the hotel for cocktails by the pool. :D
So beautiful! Great photos too, Joey.
ReplyDeleteTheir displays are always outstanding, and this one's no exception. I'm glad you shared it with us! I can almost feel the coolness - as in temperature of the room, though it IS pretty cool - as if I were strolling through myself.
ReplyDeleteWow! I doubt I would ever see them in person, so thanks! Beautiful shots as always :)
ReplyDeleteOh my. Oh my, oh my, oh my. It doesn't have the understated subtlety that I usually associate with Japanese gardens but has a beauty all of its own.
ReplyDeleteI love Mother Nature in particular.
What a beautiful place! I love the cherry blossoms!
ReplyDeleteWow, stunning! Lots of amazing eye candy and lots of amazing photo opportunities.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been very impressive. But this is not really my cup of (matcha) tea.

ReplyDeleteThose umbrellas make me want a coctail
I thought of this blog when I just visited another with a post featuring the work of Michael Eden. He currently has a show on display at Waddesdon Manor. Are you familiar with his work?
ReplyDeleteKelly no I haven't, I'm going to check him out now.
ReplyDeleteOh I just did, I like his work. He's British too!
ReplyDeleteToday, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a
ReplyDeletesea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this
is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
