BadSVG uploads
[edit]Hi Vilnisr,
it would be nice if you could upload rastergraphics as such and not embedded in a svg contianer ({{BadSVG}}). Embeeding rastergraphics in svg files has no advantages and people will only be disappointed. Cheers --Cwbm (commons) (talk) 19:06, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Can you reupload this image as a PNG or JPG file? There is no reason to embed this is in an SVG file.–Totie (talk) 12:36, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
- I have already deleted an original file, so this is the only Vilnisr T | C 16:35, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
2014 Winter Olympics medal map
[edit]Heya! While it's likely IOC will redistribute the medals doped Russian athletes had won at the 2014 Winter Olympics, they have yet to do so. So Latvia hasn't gotten any gold yet, but should get it soon hopefully :3 (referring to https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/85/2014_Winter_Olympic_Games_Medals_map.svg) -- Lejman (talk) 20:56, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

[edit]As a courtesy to other editors, it is Commons:Signatures policy to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, deletion requests, and noticeboards. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then automatically be added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). Thank you.

- In case you're wondering why you're getting these notices, it's because the bot doesn't recognise your signature template as a signature. As noted at Commons:Signatures#Transclusion of templates, using a template as a signature is not allowed. Cheers, —LX (talk, contribs) 13:37, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
