Image deletion warning | Image:Tage Erlander.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

Flickr-bilder
[edit]Hei. Hilsen Kjetil_r 23:26, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- OK. Didn't know that. I'll take heed to that in the future. --Lipothymia 23:59, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hei igjen. Hilsen Kjetil_r 03:16, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Jeg har skrevet til SV i dag. Vent noen dager med å slette. --Lipothymia 18:17, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Fint. Jeg sletter ikke før de har svart. Kjetil_r 21:24, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Cerebral_angiography,_arteria_vertebralis_sinister_injection.JPG. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. Uploading images from Flickr
[edit]When uploading images from Flickr, please use this page, where you can also choose the name for your image (without the .jpg) or atleast write the details by using Flinfo, while making sure you're uploading the original sized picture. For example, see the differences between Image:1011722561 0e64daf9bd o.jpg and Image:Josh Groban in a concert.jpg. Yuval Y § Chat § 23:09, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Image:Alzheimer's disease - MRI.jpg
[edit]Editors at en:Talk:Alzheimer's disease/ToDo have questioned the license tagging of File:Alzheimer's disease - MRI.jpg, suggesting that while it was published by NASA, it may not have originated with them. Could you please revisit to provide substantiation? Thanks.LeadSongDog (talk) 19:33, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have no more info to substantiate. If it is suspected that NASA is not the copyright holder, it should be deleted, unless the other holder agrees to publication. --Lipothymia (talk) 22:01, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- Rats! There have to be some free images we can use for this subject. Ah, well, back to the hunt. Thanks.LeadSongDog (talk) 05:13, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
while I make a survey of the Category:Castles in Denmark I wonder if "Dragsborg" is the correct name coz I dunno find any equivalent castle at da.wikipedia or at google except of your image. Can you tell me the name in correct danish spelling, please.
thanx, --Ceterum censeo capitalismum esse delendam (talk) 23:33, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- If was named incorrectly - it should read Dragsholm Slot. I can't rename it, can you do it for me? --Lipothymia (talk) 09:27, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
- hi, i canot rename images coz I'm not admin o wiki. But I see you've put it to the right category, so it's ok in this way (procedure of renaiming by "ordinary mortal" users: new upload with correct name and deletion request for the wrong named image) --Ceterum censeo capitalismum esse delendam (talk)

Hi! Per description page of this photograph of M/S Estonia from the disaster report the photograph was taken by you. Could you please consider releasing the photograph under a free license such as {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}}. File description page currently states that the photograph is excluded from protection due to section 9 of the Finnish Copyright Act, but this is unlikely the case as per subsection 2 of this section independent works included in the documents are not excluded from protection.
