Tenmei (天明) = dawn

My username is derived from Tenmei (天明), which was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō, lit. "year name") during the years from 1781 through 1789. The new era was designated to mark the enthronement of Emperor Kōkaku-tennō (光格天皇) in 1781.
