Español: Monticello, ubicada cerca de Charlottesville (Virginia), fue la residencia y principal plantación de Thomas Jefferson, tercer presidente de los Estados Unidos.
Polski: Monticello, rezydencja i główna plantacja Thomasa Jeffersona, trzeciego Prezydenta Stanów Zjednoczonych. Projektowanie i budowę domu (ang. plantation house) Jefferson rozpoczął w wieku 26 lat, gdy odziedziczył ziemię po ojcu. Położona na obrzeżach Charlottesville w stanie Wirginia plantacja miała początkowo powierzchnię 5000 akrów (20 km²), na której Jefferson, wykorzystując niewolników, uprawiał tytoń, a później, w odpowiedzi na zapotrzebowanie rynku, pszenicę.
