English: A drone journey through different landscapes of northern Kenya, from the forest islands to the desert.
In the desert of northern Kenya, where the extreme heat and unreliable rain makes life a challenge, and humans are forced into nomad pastoralism, three mountains stand out: Mt Marsabit, Mt Kulal and Mt Nyiro. Mountains which support not only trees but whole forests. These forests trap the water droplets from the clouds passing by, creating an unique ecosystem, with many endangered plant and animal species. This short film is a blink to these amazing ecosystems and their peoples.
